LLEDROD.

MEDICAL APPOINTMENT. - The appointment of Dr. Thomas Jones has been officially gazetted as the new divisional surgeon to the H Division of police, Leman-street, London, as successor to the late Dr. Baxter Phillips. Dr. Jones was born at Lledrod in 1860. He was educated at private schools and entered St. Bartholomew's Hospital where he graduated in 1884.
Subsequently he was appointed assistant surgeon to the G.W.R. works and hospital at Swindon. Eventually he entered into partnership with Dr. Sequeira at Leman-street, where he has continued ever since. Dr. Jones holds appointments under insurance companies, friendly societies, &c. The appointment was received with satisfaction amongst the officers and men of the
division.
