So, based upon this do you believe that the Ripper was a Freemason?

Jack was somewhat versed in Masonic Lore. Mitre Square, Aprons, Juwes, blood oaths, basic anatomical knowledge, etc. He had to come by that knowledge by some means.

(I'd like to know what books the Masons would have used to study anatomy and if it included female anatomy.)

But I personally believe he was possibly an expelled member and that he was a relative of a Freemason like Albert Fish, the Brooklyn Vampire.

I'd be suprised if our Jack was not a Freemason.
Family,place of birth,profession,etc.
Doubt it had much to do with the cover up though.

Here's an interesting, unattributed description about the book from Forgotten Books. It shows how someone with imagination can master anatomy as someone can master geography and street navigation without ever having hands-on or eyes-on experience.

It even sounds like Jack the Ripper. Someone like that has to be a Mason or interested in Masonry.

Someone on another site mentioned how Jack was all over the place when it came to targeting parts of the body.

Wouldn't Masonry be an explanation for the M.O.? Aren't they "all over the place" when it comes to bodily organs in their rituals?

Jack's patients were blackmailing him.

Eddowes was probably viewed as a friendly patient who should have known better and Mary Ann Kelly as the cause of it all.

Apart from that there was no real escalation from Jack.

General layman knowledge of anatomy among Freemasons means the Ripper doesn't have to be a doctor.

Are you saying that Masons have an interest in human anatomy?

Freemasons are interested in the laws of symmetry and proportion. This applies to human anatomy as much as architecture. Proper bodily proportions such as torso to whole body should accord with the Golden Mean. 

There’s also the connotation of the body as a temple which should follow the laws of the Divine. It’s no different than Solomon’s Temple.
