Many individuals have questioned why there were no Ripper murders during the month of October and here may be a reason:

Lord Randolph Churchill is in an unsatisfactory state of health. His medical adviser enjoins the utmost care; and his friends who have seen him lately are very disappointed with his appearance. Delicacy of the chest is the failing of this promising politician.
