YOUNG WOMAN MURDERED.
"Jack the Ripper" Crimes at Newcastle.

The Central News Newcastle correspondent telegraphs that on Sunday morning the body of a woman, identified as Annie Harland, aged 32, and an unfortunate, was found on the Town Moor with the throat cut and generally mutilated. A male acquaintance has been arrested, but so far nothing has been ascertained to associate him with the crime. On a Sunday, several weeks ago, another young
woman was found to have been murdered in similar manner, and there is now quite a list of undiscovered murders committed in the Tyneside district.
