Pope Francis in "Metropolis" 1927 Empty Pope Francis in "Metropolis" 1927

Post by Karen Mon 9 Feb 2015 - 4:10

In the following film, entitled, "Metropolis," I have captured a still from the film showing a character named Joh Fredersen, who is sitting in a chair hiding his right hand in his coat. Then I found a picture of Pope Francis, pictured sitting on the bus with his right hand inside his coat. I call this picture "Riding the Gravy Bus." So what does this have to do with Pope Francis? The answer is simple - the man's name is Joseph (Joh) and Pope Francis's real first name is Jorge. Also, he took the name Francis when he became Pope, and the man in the film's last name is Fredersen. Then, finally, Joh Fredersen's son calls him "Father" throughout the film. Just like Papa Francesco expects us to do. Your real father is in heaven; call no one on Earth your Father.

The film is about a great Metropolitan city (not unlike New York or London) where the regular people are forced underground to work for the rich and wealthy. The film is synchronized to Pink Floyd's album, "Wish You Were Here."

One of Joh Fredersen's quotes in the film "Metropolis" was the following:
