The Adventure of a Commercial Traveler.

A gentleman, a stranger was walking on Thursday in the West End in London. A crowd of boys followed him shouting, that the stranger wore a false beard and that he could be Jack the Ripper. In an instant a crowd of several hundred grew. They did it now left the hoot, but threw stones at his head. The stranger finally took flight in a police station, because his persecutors had completely besieged him. After spending some time at the station, he managed to escape in his flight through a secret door wearing other clothing, which he had received at the police station. The supposed Jack was a commercial traveler, who was visiting the city for business.
