In The British Medical Journal of September 16, 1876, is announced the appointment of Dr. R.T.S. Eager, M.D. as Medical Officer to the Oldswinford District of the Stourbridge Union, vice R.L. Campbell resigned. This position would later be filled Dr. Alfred William Pearson in May of 1884.
