Another Murder In Dorset Street In 1898
Murder in London.
Today, in the early morning hours, the people of the Spitalfields quarter were brought into turmoil by a terrible murder. In one of the narrow aisles competed in Dorset Street heard a loud noise passersby, the windows flew to pieces, and cries for help came from the top floor. Undoubtedly it was a severe fight, and the police rushed up the narrow stairs. Having emerged, they found the body of a woman bleeding heavily from two gaping wounds: one to the left of the other above the right breast, her wounds were so terrible, that a few moments she later died. When police entered the room, they were the witnesses of a terrible battle: the husband of the assassinated woman was wrestling with the killer attempting to pull the knife out of her hands. The floor was covered with all kinds of broken goods, tables, mirrors, chairs, and everything was thrown around the room and covered with blood. The murderer, who is the sister of the murdered woman, was immediately arrested. Drunkenness is again the cause of the crime.
