Identity Of Jack The Ripper.

LONDON, April 19. - George Kebbell, a lawyer, denies Sir Robert Anderson's assertion that "Jack the Ripper" was a Jew. He says the Ripper was an Irishman, educated to be a physician, who had been discarded by his relatives. He was fireman on a cattle boat, and was suspected of the "Ripper" crimes. The police watched him and arrested him in the act of mutilating a victim. Kebbell says he defended the prisoner at his preliminary hearing. The prisoner was not represented by counsel at his trial at the Old Bailey, where he was sentenced. He died in prison.
