A VERY "FAIR" JOKE.
A Montreal paper says that Dr. Tumblety is going to meet with opposition. An American lady, walking the streets the other day, saw placarded on the walls an advertisement, "Finnan Badies cured by A. McEwan." The lady, on reaching home, was anxious to know the particular kind of disease that was thus designated. Of course there was a hearty laugh at the enquirant's expense, in which she too joined, when the placard was explained to her.
