Anatomical/Surgical Skill Present
England
The Whitechapel murders
London, October 3
Judging by appearances, if the police cannot even find the track of the perpetrator of the Whitechapel murders, there will be other murders committed, because despite the frequent crimes that are executed incognito, who signs himself "Jack the Ripper", are still occuring. The only thing that remotely seems to be a clue, is a piece of the woman's apron found in the street of Goulston. Considering the clothing that covered the corpse of the woman found in Mitre Square, it was discovered that the piece of apron belonged to the woman. Nobody has been able until today to identify the corpse:
There remains alarm and excitement in all classes of society, and no one believes that the crime on Sunday, will be the last of its kind, given the brutal audacity with which it was executed. Daily the police have been rebuked for failing to discover the murderer and the lack of impunity for this. It has been noticed in the bodies of the deceased that the criminal has some knowledge and some anatomical and surgical skill, and this is a clue to his persecution.
It is proposed to organize a popular meeting in Whitechapel during the week to try and investigate the murders referred to in the neighborhood, a Supervisory Committee will search for the infamous criminal.
